The Linly Heflin Scholarship Committee receives applications in January each year from Alabama women seeking help with their undergraduate degree at 4-year accredited Alabama colleges and universities. Our scholarships award $4,000 per year for four years or until graduation, whichever comes first. Specific criteria are used in the selection process and students must maintain a minimum G.P.A. to continue receiving the scholarship. The Scholarship Committee reviews all of the applications following the January deadline and determines which of the applicants will be interviewed in the spring. Following the interviews, the Scholarship Committee makes its selection and the scholarship recipients are notified. Scholarship Fund Donations are Tax Deductible
If you would like to make a donation to the Linly Heflin scholarship fund, you may do so securely via Paypal.
What happens to my donation to Linly Heflin?
100% of your donation goes to funding scholarships. Your donation will not be used for administration or overhead.
When a donation is received, it is put into our bank trust account. The bank sends the donor an official letter acknowledging the contribution, and stating that we are a 501(c)(3) corporation, making all contributions tax deductible.
